Mission Statement
To provide infrastructure tools and services for the
discovery of, and access to, geospatial data and services, to serve a
wide range of Canadian stakeholders.
Provide an enabling infrastructure for the Geomatics community,
and to develop Canadian industrial capability.
The Discovery Portal is the prime discovery and access component of the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure.
The Discovery Portal supports a broad range of suppliers and
consumers of geospatial data and services.
