How to Copy

Your Geospatial Data Content

1. Once you have registered as a Discovery Portal supplier, click on Geospatial Data.
2. Your Geospatial Data Summary page will appear onscreen. Click on the metadata entry that you wish to copy. Copying metadata speeds creation when a number of your metadata share identical fields, such as contact information. One metadata entry can act as a basic template for others.
3. The geospatial metadata entry form will appear onscreen. Click on the Save As button.
4. The Discovery Portal will ask you to provide a new name for the product collection. You also have the option of publishing or not publishing the copied metadata entry. After entering a new name and confirming your publish option, click on Save. If you do not wish to proceed with the copy, click on Cancel.
5. An Information Submitted page will appear to announce the successful copy. Click on Continue. You will be returned to your Geospatial Data Summary page.
