Adding a Discovery Portal Application

Liferay supports using its portlets as widgets. A widget is a small piece of code that can be included on any web site that provides a piece of functionality but doesn’t have to be hosted by that web site. (Eg embedding a YouTube video)

If an Administrator has enabled an application to be shared you will see:

Add this application to any website

Instructions:

1. Click on the "Add this application to any website." link.

2. Copy and paste the code provided in the popup box in to your HTML page.

3. Upload to your site and open the page in your browser.
