Computer Based Training

Computer-Based Training provides step-by-step instructions to allow users to rapidly learn and understand the power and interoperability of the GeoConnections Discovery Portal.

In the training video's you will need to follow the instructions that are displayed on the screen. You can also use the video player buttons at the bottom of the screen to perform different functions such as: play, pause, rewind, forward etc. This will allow you to practice using the application before moving on to the actual application.

The six modules to focus on different areas of the application. It is recommended to go through these module in order.
 

• Module 1 - How to perform a Catalog Search (3.5 mb)
• Module 2 - How to perform an advanced search (3.2 mb)
• Module 3 - Working with search results (5.7 mb)
• Module 4 - How to create an account (1.1 mb)
• Module 5 - How to publish content (2.7 mb)
• Module 6 - How to use the result map ( 10 mb)
