Re-usable Web Components Demo

This demo shows how Earthscape Lite, Earthscape II, Place Name Search and Postal Code Lookup can be used to identify a location and forward the geographic coordinates to the Bounding Box Coordinates component for display.

Here are the steps we took to create this demo:

We wrote the source HTML for this web page with special <CEONet:...> tags in it.

see the source HTML (tags highlighted in red).

We viewed the web page with the <CEONet:...> tags still in the source.

see this page with the <CEONet:...> tags (you will see spaces where the tools are supposed to go).

We used the Link Builder to create a link that causes the Discovery Portal's CEONet engine to replace the <CEONet:...> tags with the actual components.
